From 20 to 25 November 2022, the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) organised a business trip of Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH, represented by Mr Igor Chukov, Head of Sales CIS and Eastern Europe.
On the first day of the business trip, Mr Igor Chukov was briefed on Azerbaijan's latest situation and developments by Mr Tobias Baumann, Executive Director of AHK Azerbaijan and held meetings with Mr Sadig Sadigov, Chairman of the State Housing Development Agency and Mr Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the Board of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture.
During the 5-day trip, the German company representative visited several sectoral Azerbaijani companies, including PMD Projects LLC, North West Construction LLC and AS Group Investment LLC. Both sides exchanged views on possible cooperation opportunities.
The discussions focused on the opportunities in the construction sector and the possible solutions provided by Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH. The exchange with both state agencies delivered excellent insights into Azerbaijan's legal and institutional frameworks.
