Representation of Interests
We represent the interests of our members vis-à-vis institutions and decision-makers in business and politics in Azerbaijan.
With the aim to improve the investment and operating environment, we address the wishes, concerns and suggestions of our members at the respective places, bringing those to the attention of key players in administrative and economic matters. We stand by your side with our network and our contacts.
Linking the German-Azerbaijani economic interests, AHK Azerbaijan supports its member companies in solving concrete problems in day-to-day business. By assisting in contacting state authorities, government structures, and administrative bodies, we highlight major issues such as challenges in market entry activities, administrative barriers, and other relevant concerns that our members face.
Our activities as your interest representative:
- Practical assistance in specific cases to eliminate hindrances in everyday business life, such as tax or customs problems;
- Representation of initiatives of our members within the working groups aimed at improving the economic policy framework and preparation of position papers;
- Advocating interests at the highest political and administrative levels
- Political support for your concerns at the annual meeting of the German-Azerbaijani High-Level Working Group on Trade and Investment;
- Representation of our members in all important forums of German-Azerbaijani economic relations;
- Close cooperation with German and Azerbaijani business associations.
