On 26 May 2021, the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) organised the AHK Members’ Assembly in a hybrid format at the Hyatt Regency Meeting & Conference Center.

Following the opening remarks by Mr Farid Isayev, the Chairman of AHK Board of Directors, the agenda of the meeting was introduced by Mr Tobias Baumann, the Executive Director of AHK Azerbaijan, who later presented a brief report on the activities of AHK Azerbaijan during the last year. Welcoming AHK members, Ms Andrea Sühl, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, shared the news from the German Embassy in Azerbaijan and Mr Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of E-Gov Development Center of Azerbaijan gave a presentation on the topic of “Public Services in Digital Age”.

During the meeting, the annual report of the Chamber for 2020 and the annual report of the internal auditors for 2020 were approved, as well as the elections of the new internal auditors for 2021 were held. The event was proceeded with introduction of the new members of AHK Azerbaijan. The new members of AHK Azerbaijan were then unanimously approved by the Assembly.

In his closing remarks, Mr Farid Isayev, the Chairman of AHK Board of Directors thanked the guest speakers and member companies for participating in the event.
