Deutsche und aserbaidschanische Unternehmen diskutieren über Kooperationsmöglichkeiten im Pharmasektor

AHK Azerbaijan is organising a 2-day business trip of a Delegation of German pharmaceutical companies to Azerbaijan on 22-23 August 2022.  

On the first day of the two-day program, August 22nd, 5 German and 10 Azerbaijani companies operating in the field of pharmaceuticals came together at the AHK Azerbaijan Conference Hall for the presentation event on "German Pharmaceuticals for Azerbaijan". The participating German representatives presented German companies' activities, projects, and proposals to Azerbaijani counterparts, discussed opportunities for cooperation, and provided close information about planned activities in the region.  

At the event, the Deputy Executive Director of the AHK Azerbaijan, Fabian Zittlau and the Deputy Head of Mission of the German Embassy in Azerbaijan, Heiko Schwarz, welcomed all participants with an official opening speech and briefed the participants on the recent developments and the current market trends in Azerbaijan. 
 
Following the opening speech, the representatives of German pharmaceutical companies made short presentations and briefed participants on the following topics: B2B Solutions in International Pharmaceutical Supply, How to Setup an Online Pharmacy (Key Success Factors and Obstacles), The Smart Storage and Fulfilment Solution for Your Business, Automation – Manufacturing – Intralogistics, Logistic Consultancy for Pharmaceutical Industry and Wholesale. 
 
The event was concluded with a networking session with participating companies.    

On the second day of the business trip, the German delegation will have the opportunity to hold meetings with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as various institutions and companies of the country, and showcase their applied solutions from Germany.
